Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

it looks good???

i don't want to seem harsh...
but why all the simply sites all identical...
i mean the can be "similar" in looks....bu they are exactly the same thing with different name? i dunno if that is what u wanted to acheive (who ever is incharge of sm sites) but if it is u did a good job in making them look the same. but imho, i think adding a little variation to each site would make things more "lively" and/or professional. i don't know how difficult it is to make a site such as SM, so again i'm not saying it's a bad thing that they are "identical"... i just don't like it. every button is in the exact same place, every little line is the samething...
this is a personal preference issue. i'm not saying it likeness of sites is a bad thing... it's just very dead boring to me.. all users espect same dull thing on all sites. (not that SM is dull...figure of speech user added image )

There designed to be identical, if you can find your way round one you can find your way round them all.

David.

if there was one thing with the simplyMax site that was different or even looked cooler than all sm sites, then i would "really be looking foward to it"...

I think it would be very frustrating if they looked and functioned differently from site to site. I think it was a wise idea to have them identical with just a color shift.

It keeps the navigation simple; and the goal in the end is for people to learn and share ideas. If they are busy figuring out the interface it makes that much more difficult.
