Transformation tool help

Hey guys,


Im finally get back into the swing of things, but i have found my skills are beyond rusty, its like starting new again user added image. This is a really big newbie question, but i was having trouble making my transformation tool a useable size (So i can see the squares/arrows/etc on the points of the X/Y/Z Axis) If anyone would be willing to help that would be awesome. Thanks guys and sorry for such a n00b question user added image.

by pressing your "+" or "-" keys you can resize themuser added image
