Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world

rendering an animation

i am trying to render a short simple animation and wish to be able to play it back as a gif... how do i go about doing this?

Imagination will always lead to knowledge, while knowledge may not necessarily bring fourth imagination.

I think the render globals free tutorial on SM explains how the how to render individual frames of an animation. Then you can use a basic gif generator like 'microsoft gif animator' to compile these frames into a gif.

Good Luck
