unwanted vertices

how can one get rid of unwanted vertices, like for example in a dense object if I delete multiple edges, it leaves behind vertices, insteaded of deleting the vertices one at a time, how can one delete it in one go.

If you [right-click] [vertices] and then mouse drag and select all vertices then hit delete it should only get rid of the vertices that have 2 or less edges applying to them.

As always I would save your work before hitting delete but I have never had any problems with it.

You should watch out for vertices you have left with just two edges attached to them (happens sometimes when you have half a model ready for -x duplication) as they will be deleted too.

if you use the command Edit Polygons > Delete Edge, it will delete the vertices as well.

Delete Edge

Hey Guys,

Yeah, using "Edit Polygons > Delete Edge" as Mike said is a huge help. I use it so much I added it to my polygons tab on my shelf.

Use ctrl + shift + Left Mouse Click to add menu items to your shelf if anyone didn't know.

Hope this Helps,
