Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Dammit bullet!

I hadn't really planned on doing a body for him, as with the first one, but since you mentioned it I had ideas swimming around my head as to how I'd do it.
Now I've had to go ahead and give it a go!
All your fault....lol

Will post some progress on the body when it's a little further along.

lol, was only kidding bullet....

Got a couple of hours spare this morning so got the body pretty much finished, just need to get the hands and feet done and into Z he goes!

Once I've decided how many fingers and toes he should have it shouldn't take long to get them done hopefully.
And with a bit of luck I'll get some time tomorrow morning to do a bit!

Yeah, will probably go for the 3 fingers/toes thing, makes sense what with the way he looks and all.
Have taken a slight detour from that character for tonight, always wanted to model some Marvel characters so decided to try out Ironmans helmet.
Got the top part started, (you may notice a slight vert misalignment near the crease at the top, that's fixed now....) but must go to bed as I have work in the morning, and have to go whilst suffering from a cold and cough.
Fun times ahead.....lol
I'll finish it off when I get back tomorrow night,

Cheers Bullet,

Trying to keep the number of projects to a minimum, that's why I'm doing this doodle thread, not important if any of them get finished or not, as none of them are actual projects! Win/win situation! lol

Got the helmet shape done, thinking of taking it into Z to finish off the little line indents that seperate the helmet into pieces, and maybe paint it and give it a little battle damage.

Aaargh!
Please don't say that Dave..... lol
When Bullet mentioned the same kind of thing about the Amphibious character a few posts back I got too tempted and couldn't resist, and now you're doing it! Haha
It may just happen again now and I haven't even finished the last one.....

I think its just hard to envisage without some part of the chest armour at least Dango...its a bit hard to try and get what you are trying to make across mate.

Fair enough Bullet, I see your point.
I'll give doing the rest of him some thought and see if I can get hold of some good reference images.
I have to admit I would love to finish him off properly!
