October Challenge - Chris_H - Normal

Looking forward to this.

Unfortunatley my progress will be slow to start as I'm in sole charge of my son for a good few days while his mother has a well deserved rest from my maya-madness. (she loves my work reallyuser added image)

I'm going for the 15 sec sound and plan to do some quick storyboarding and an animatic over the next few days, then start properly next week.

Well, thought I was well out of time for this challenge, but I've got a few nights to spare and am going to give it a shot.

I've had so little time and have concentrated what time I did have on some environment work that was sparked off by this challenge.

Have the scenery and two characters rigged, and a few blend shapes. Should be fun to see if I can acomplish the animation in 4 nights work user added image

Thanks for the encouragment, I'm going to need it!

Orgeeizm, they are paint fx, applied to a curve then converted to polys, baked texture then re-textured.

Thanks Ice Queen, you are totally right of course.
It's just that I set my mind to it and couldn't let go.

The work is a bit of a hack in the end and the animation sucks.I spent no where near enough time (two sessions) on it to do it justice. But what the hell, it was fun giving it a go user added image

No comments on my final upchuck.
Well I'm sure I deserve that.
