Need help

I teyed the cartoon dog tutorial but when im modeling the head
1 side looks good and other sux user added image
The guy's head in the video look similar on both sides HOW?

If you take a closest look at the video, you'll find out that's because "the guy" has modeled only half of the head (and the whole body, too) and then duplicated it on the negative x-side ;-)

If you can keep your head when all about you are losing theirs,
it's just possible you haven't grasped the situation.

The dog gets cut in half later on, dont worry about getting both sides the same at this stage
