Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

FPS

Hi, my name is Julian Flynn, I am 13 years old, and I just got the free learners version of Maya (I'm poor)
Sorry if this is going in the wrong place first of all.
Anyway to my question, is there a way to change fps on Maya? If so how? I would like to change mine to 24 fps.

What would you need it for? Besides, I think you might want to mess around with the refresh rate of your whole computer rather than just maya. Sorry, cant help much though.

You can change the framerate in the Settings section of the Preference panel (Window > Settings/Preferences > Preferences).

Yes, I work with Maya a lot. Everyday, to be precise.

And I am not a programmer. I'm actually an animator. (It's in my signature, btw. user added image )

You can either go to windows>animation editors>graph editor, or go to the time line, click and drag over the keys you want. Then at the ends of the selection, and the middle, there should be arrows. the ones in the middle move it. the ones at the ends scale it. To move them, middle click and drag. I would recomend scaling, because then you have to put your keys at the frame numbers manualy.

to delete them, select the keys, then hit the delete key on your keyboard.

You can also use the Dope Sheet to move and delete keys. Benefit of using Dope Sheet is it's easier to select and edit keys for multiple objects.
