Is there a way to get the fountain effect using particles?

Thanks,Chris

An idea is delicate.
It can be killed by a sneer or yawn,
It can be stabbed to death by a joke
Or worried to death by a frown
On the right persons brow.

yes, use blobby objects as your render type and then use fields to attract the water and then a gravity field to pull em back down. You might be better off using fluids though. If it's for this kind of shot then you could probably get away with a 2d emitter front on to the camera.
