rendering

Whenever i try to hardware render my render stops @ frame 10 any ideas why

Check your Hardware Render window go to Rendering > Attributes and set your Start and End time. You'll also find a bunch of cool options to help improve the final output.

ty for the attributes thing in hardware rendering. one other ? the ring of fire izzy set up does it not liked to be hw rendered. because the sw render worked just fine. keep up the great work

there are different kinds of particles. The ones marked (s/w) can be software rendered, while the rest have to hardware rendered.

ahha the sweet smell of revelation!!! DO you think the book Maya Fundamentals 4.5 is worth the purchase. do you know where i can get the tuts that come on the documentation cd w/ maya 4.5. thanks for your time ...

Yeah.
You installed them from the CD when you installed Maya, so simply open Maya, then hit F1 on your keyboard, and choose "Instant Maya".

If you have Maya on your computer, you should have the Help files...
