O.K. I am not totally happy with what I have, but I am throwing in the towel (I think?!?!) I am going to spend my time on the other competition for now...

I learned alot with this comp... so I feel like I won already!user added image

and I think Caligraphics should win!! thats my vote!user added image

here is why i think i shouldnt winuser added image :

1. the nose/lips on my model need better definition. they seem to melt into the head. It takes so much time to pull those vertices!!!user added image
2. my uv's are sloppy and the textures are stretching around in weird waysuser added image user added image
3. Caligraphics is the man!

anyhow.... here are some renders--->

Amazing man! Great job. How did you do that hair?! Anyways.. just great user added image.. make sure you post a final though.. some forget that and that ends up making them have no chance in the judging. user added image.

M- thanx! I cheated with the hair user added image I copied the geometry of the scalp and applied a texture with a transparency map, giving it the illusion of layers of hair.

thanx mike!

That's an excellent idea! Really original, nice one Howard. The Lethargic action figure- I can imagine them selling bed accessories!
