June Challenge | z1mmnd14 | Noobie

I still gonna be a Noobie cos I’m been neglecting Maya recently, and am still learning. When I subscribe (which is as soon as I can get my own debit card) I’ll hopefully progress with the help of some fab videos user added image

My idea is from something I saw on some show, I think on Bravo. I remember what it is but not in great detail so I’ll be designing it from scratch, using the basic concept.

This design is a big bike wheel, and the person sits in the wheel itself. The pedals; seat; handlebars; engine; controls and all that stuff are also in the wheel.

I’m calling this either The Bike Wheel or The Wheel. Other suggestions welcome.

Here’s a super quick sketch, I plan on making a much more detailed one before I start modelling tomorrow.

you could combine them, then merge vertices.

You could try doing a boolean union on them. Im a fan of booleans, but dependong on your objects it may not work.
