lol didnt stop to think of it like that user added image

this is more of a general website question but ill post it here anyway.
when you use SSI to include a menu onto every page of your site using this code:
<!--#include virtual="menu.htm" -->

do I need to have every page in my cgi-bin for it to work? because my ISP told me that you do but i dont want to have to access my cgi-bin all the time just to go to my site....user added image

It depends if SSI is enabled in your public HTML directory, if it is, then no the pages don't need to be in your CGI-BIN

Look for a .htaccess tutorial to tell you how to turn on SSI in any directory.
