Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

I have put together an animation of this guy getting ready to move. since i have never seen him move i can do as i like and those "heel sticks" at the back seem there just to hold it up right when its standing still so they have to tuck up out of the way when he moves.

I did this now so i don't have to change the size of him when i'm rigging and taking steps backwards all of the time user added image always one step head of the game

Looking good so far! I can't wait to see it when it's finished. Liking the animation, too. Are you going to animate the whole thing when it's done?

tada i had another lil bash at rendering and added some more detail
i used GI Joe for the clay renders
and yea i will animate the whole thing, i hope to have him move like the t-rex from jurassic park. so nice and springy

lol same here, except the "i'm a huge mgs fan" i have only played half of the psp version although its really cool just no robots
i know i should have posted updates by now but college has slapped me in the face with a tonne of work (but that can wait :p) so to show i am still into the project i give you the upper leg. kinda user added imagelower-upper leg will be done by tommorrow but now i need to finish some college work.oh and i have changed my render globals for this, what do you guys thing.user added image

its nice of you to say Zeroalarm but every one hates the upperlegs so i remade them according to new referance images. and please comment even if its just "wow nice work!" nice comments make me work harder
