So true!

How sad that I remember typing in lines of code for the spectrum to make some triangles that shot each other LOL.

I qm not familiar with spectrum... was that in the US? I had an Atari 400 with my cassette recorder for storage. The cool kids had the commodore.

No the Spectrum series was a UK invention by Clive Sinclair (he of the C5 fame).

He started with calculators but the first one I had was the ZX81 which came out in 1981 (I still have it as well!) and then the Spectrum 48k and 128k (those too sadly enough although all lurk in the loft). The ZX Spectrum series was a rival to the Commodore 64 and had classic games like Manic Miner and Underwurlde which were loaded in through a tape recorder. They did some pretty impressive stuff for the time. Not sure if they sold them in the USA.

You can get a Speccy emulator for the PC but I never have- not sure if I want my nostalgic illusions shattered!

holy crap!! So sorry guys, I was soo busy with other things that I totally forgot about this tournament! its been such a busy week and i dont even know if i could of done a post until now.. its dieing down now.. but every minute of my day has been stressed with work. Anyways, as of next week im free and will be able to spend a lot more time on SM. Anyways, congratulations Howardporter for winning the tournament! I will update the tournament chart as soon as i can and I will try to add lots of info into the battle arena stats page user added image (including both tournaments). Lets all try some more 1 on 1 battles for now.. and maybe later we can run another tournament. I think 1 on 1 battles are better now that i think of it.. just because everyone gets to battle all the time, on tournaments once your out.. your out. lol. Anyways, great job to both of you and witchy.. i LOVED the dog!! ok, cya around the boards user added image.
