Instant primitive creation using custom tool tab?

When i turn off interactive creation and use the primitive creation menu, i can create a primitive instantly. When double click on a create primitive shortcut in my custom shelf, i get the pop-up primitive creation options. Is there a way to create without seeing the options popup, when using the custom shelf?

Click once. Double clicking is supposed to bring up the options.

i never knew that when i double click i get the menu option , thanks for this tip
