moving image planes

Okay..dumb question...i am working on a tutorial and imported the image plane as directed. It is locked and I cant move it or select it. What am I missing here?

To select it and move it, you must make the middle box clear shown as in the picture...(Next to the V on the right)

To select your image plane, you ether need to select it in a view other then what it was created in (IE: won't be able to select a front image plane in the front view), or, in the panel you created it in, go View > select Camera. You'll now see the image plane and it's attributes in the inputs of the camera it was created in (or you can open the attribute editor and select the image plane attribute tab)
