Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Alpha Channel/ pics only black-white

Hello,

I've rendered a picture in Maya Software (Targa, JPG, IFF-> all the same results), but I only see something, when I turn the alpha Channels "on" and that pic is black-white...
Can somebody help me to see my pics in color?

alpha channels only can be greyscale. I'm not certain what you're trying to do.

When I render in a normal scene, I get a pic in color or grayscale or whatever.
But in the actuell scene, there is only a black picture. Just black!
Now I can let me show only the "alpha channels" in the rendered pic and that works fine (black-white, as usual).

I think, I've done a (or more) setting(s), which doesn't show me any RGB-Color. But I absolutly don't know, which one and what to do....

With Hardware Rendering I've good results, I've a pic! But I need software, because I've some bumpmapping.

I hope, someone could help me....
