This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i

OK OK OK,

I know, not another SW Land Speeder to look at but hey, you gotta find something to do on those lonely nights user added image

OK, I did this as a speed modelling challenge, and why not. Modelled in 2 Hours 50 Min's. Modelled in NURBS, Ploys and SubD's

Comments always appreciated

Nothing wrong with SW vehicles, this one is a fave of mine from way back when I was a kid, it still is, alongside the Millennium Falcon.

Good job so far, though I'd look at the geometry on the hood and tidy that up as the texture process will be an arse otherwise.

Its SubD, hence why it looks "wierd". The UV map will be on the Polys. So once I have the UV layout completed the texture will be fine.

Added some scene work and dumped my own simple texture (Desert Combatesq), lighting (one Ambient Light). The terrain needs more work (bumps / displacement map, etc...), but hey...

Be Nice user added image
