Thanks guys!

Nem - There isn't any body under the clothes. The only place there is is for the glove. The hand is inside it, but that's because I'm planning on using this model for other stuff after this challenge.

Will do, David. user added image

Well, it's late in my neck of the woods, so I'd better turn in. Here's what I did today. Mostly rigging. Used smooth binding rather than my usual rigid and it turned out a lot better than I thought... I'm going to have to try smooth out more often.

So, here's a render:

Now that I've got him situated, I need to adjust the lighting, but I'll wait until the rest of the environment is done for that.

And here's a wire/xray view:

And as a Simply Maya exclusive, you can get a hi-res wire frame image here: www.mtmckinley.net/cg_toon49hi.jpg (234k) user added image

Thanks! Now, it's off to bed. user added image

Thanks, Roman. user added image

Today I took a break as I've been working on this guy pretty much every day for the past week, but I couldn't help but mess with it a little bit. I'm still fiddling with the pose. I've got a bit of clipping toward the hems of the pants, but I'll take care of that later.

He's going to be looking at a cartoon dog begging to be fed, so his facial expression comes from doing so much and yet being asked to do more. :p

Thats lookin really great so far. Those shirt wrinkles look awsome... how did you do those? Just split poly tool a bunch of times? And then soften the normals? Great. =]
