Aparantly the problems with mental ray and subdiv's has been sorted out in 8.5, cant vouch for it though as I never use em!

nice wires man, and u talked about my heavy mesh lol ur front bumper looks just as crazy lol but i bet it helped when doing all of those sensors

lol yea i know this car is much harder than i thought but its a good challenge, and those sensors are so hard to fix esp when there are bumps, heres some progress wprked on the seams.

yea i had similar problems thats why i had to make the mesh heavy because of the way the front bumper on my skyline bends where the signal is so without it, i was getting such a heavy pinch..............anyways, this is comming a lone fricking sweet, i have to learn how to do interiors, thats somethign i never done before sp i get lost thinking of where to start but wow its looking good. good work

yea the interior is always hard cause sometimes there are limited ref and the blueprints dont even help.

You could always go to a dealership and take pictures of the interior.

2. do you know of any maya specific car interior tutorials? i cant understand the max ones...
