Replace Mia material with standard shaders?

Hello everyone!

Im a newbie here and Im trying to learn maya while I continue to work with Cinema4D.

My question is if possible to change a mia material with a simple one like lambert or blinn to then export it to fbx without problems.

Is it possible to drag a material over another (like in c4d) to replace it?

Thanks so much! user added image

Hi,

Yes it sure is, go to "window" , "rendering editors", "hypershade" right click on any material, your mia material for example then choose select objects with material....this works for full surfaces or individual parts of an object, any surface with that material.

Simply apply a new material to that selection, your lambert for example.
