I would first do a detailed high poly version and when that one is finished I would then remove polys manually to get to a lower poly version.

well i see it that u have to add more detail to the lowpoly to get teh high poly so why not just make the lowpoly and highpoly at teh same time , since u basicly make the low and the high together anyway ...... the low just has some tris where as the high dont and the high would have bevels and shutlines and such .... so i dont see the problem , plus it will take more time to remove detail then just to make a copy of the (half done) high poly mid way so ...... yar .....user added image

I just feel your work flow would be better concentrating on the low poly model first get all the geometry flow correct and then do a smooth or convert to sub-D to get you high poly one. it just seems you doubleing you efforts when theres really no need.

Only suggestions, so dont take it to heart that we are saying your wrong we are right, everyone works differently. Just dont want you wasting time, when your efforts could to utilised elsewhere working on the low poly.

Everything looks cool though...

The low-poly looks great and looks just as good as the high-poly.

Dude, I haven't seen you post crits on anyone else's work, so how can you complain if no one posts on yours? come on mate - it's give and take.user added image

Your model is looking solid. As Gamester has said, I'm not sure about the textures - it just seems a little clean. I like the pavement and the reflection in the puddles, but the pavement texture repeats a bit too much. keep up the good work and get posting on other people's threads.
