I trying to get some ribs showing but am having trouble. It a polygon model, what would be the best technique for this?

probably use split polygon tool pretty heavily.

Any tip's on the feet. I'm going for bird feet (vulture style) and at the moment they just look like 3 sasuages.

Give the feet some claws. Thatll make it look more "vulturish".

Oh wow, really coming along! yea, some claws would add to the feet, but dont make them too long, because it is a form of a dog. I like how you did that with the ribs, so you may want to continue that boney look throughout the body, up to you user added image. Keep it up and i will be watching progress!

It's a good start, what reference are you working from? The reason i say that is that the front leg of a dog isnt at the very front it's set back from the head do you see what I mean? Imagine yourself on all fours think about where your shoulder is in relation to your neck and head. You need to move the front leg back and to the side so that it can take the weight of the hound.

I'm looking forwards to seeing your progress.

LOL, headin over now pure user added image, didnt even realise you had that wip going.. i spend 80% of my time in the challenges areas (battle arena, 3d model comp, monthly challenge) and the other 20% all around the board.. must of missed it user added image.
