Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

very nice... can you explain why in the flat shaded view it looks as thought roof doesn't meet up with door well but that it renders perfectly.

very nice. Excellent model + render.

I have some questions about how you made it.

Did you model it all in one piece and then seperate all the seperate panels? Did you make it out of poly or is this done with nurbs?

Could you give a brief out line of the method of modelling? I always wonder how ppl make these kinds of photo realistic car models i always see.

thanks all for the comments

hi
-aidan
well this is my first attempt at modelling a car and i think it could have been better because i made this one by modelling in separate panels, should have done it by box modelling. better and easyer

-mhcannon
the shaded mode pictures are a older version of the model, thats why you see that gap on the roof, and you dont on the render. cheers any more questions ?
