Mercedes F400 Concept Car

Hi all!
I'm working on an funny little car I saw at an concept-car-show. It's pretty rough right now... details (like seats -) ) are missing. Just searching the right "surface flow" by now... no real textures by now, only a little bit of reflection...
btw. rendered with Maya

I don't have access to my Maya workstation, so you get some PLE snaphsots... the lower part of the back will be mostly deleted and replaced by an big diffusor (hope that's the right word), there'll a lot to do...

Very nice, I like the flow of the curves. Are there any doors or do you just 'jump in'? user added image
I'd like to see the real thing, do you have a photo?

By now it's poly... after I've finished the concept I'll rebuild it with NURBS. Hope I can spent a little time for this.
greetings, Klaus

:: Emo
The references are great! I think I saw an older Version of this prototype... there was no interior in the one I saw -)

::Cyrius
I know bulletproof personally so this was nothing really interesting for the average -)
Anyway, the shader is pretty basic...
an simple grey color, the reflectivity-channel has an ramp with an samplerInfo, Eccentricity 0.041, Specular Roll off 1.2
I created an big sphere, made it not casting shadows, not primary visible only for reflectivity... and added an simple lambert shader with an image in the Incadenescence channel... that's all... great an ground just for receiving shadows and set the background color to grey, activate raytracing and you're finished...
for concept work this works... the finished rendering need's an better setup -)
