Yeah Byron released the Bevel in his Toolset as a standalone plugin over on the CgTalk Maya board, which was very nice of him. Works like a charm, and I know plenty of people, like me, were in need of a Bevel for Maya that actually works. user added image

Surprised Alias hasn't hired this guy yet.

I realize this is an older thread but wanted to find out if anyone's currently using byron's polytools? He had a thread not too long ago at cgtalk where several people were having really bad file corruption issues on save (i.e., maya crashes on save and you can't open your file anymore....imagine that after working for a month on a detailed mesh!!!). Anyway, was curious to see if anyone's using it or has had similar problems.

I have only used it a few times and didnt haave any problems but I am not doing anythig that complex with it. But I did just download the newer Alph ver with several fixes will install later this week and check it out. It has several bug fixes.
