LOL, I might download the Maya trial version just to partake in this challenge as I love modeling scenes like this. Great challenge Idea.

yes you need your own thread, a brand new project in which you show all your progress, just posting an image of a finished scene how do we know you didn't take it from somewhere? not saying that you did, but you need to show your work in your thread.

hey man, welcome to simplymaya!

What you should do is start a thread called something like "Henhrig666 - Virtual Cityscape - (then whatever your cityscape is)" and repost your render.
Hope you enjoy the comp!
