This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

you would be surpised how little refference there is for this ship on the net, it certainly slowed me down a bit!

Holy cow, that looks amazing Paldav. Hell of a lot of details going on yet it does not look overcrowded think you got it perfect.

well Im shattered...work on Star Wars is apparently a cliche in the CG world mate...and Im so overcome with the bloody great models you are making...to send them a complete and utter rebuff...because this is just damn fine work my man...damn fine...god that looks so detailed! dont stop...

Ahh the medical frigate......nice job. Yeah theres not much ref on it at all, even the blue prints stuff is wrong too. Perhaps some screen grabs from Empire would help, i'll try and post later

Bummer...sorry then mate...but yeh COOL page eh!!! I have it bookmarked for further use LOL...if I ever get a model finished of course...Im starting to sound like Acid methinks LOL...4000 models on the go

Had to use slight artistic interpretation but kept as close i could, the main vague area was just behind the main front bit, also its wrong were it connects to the engine so that and the spine is next.
