have you got a digital camera to get the textures for the boxes, phones, radio, etc.? i've never really tried to use a digital camera for my stuff, i usually just create stuff in photoshop.

hey - thanks aikoworld and neostrider (good to see you around mate - you were missing in action for a while there. user added image )

basically i look for some stuff online - logos, etc, and i use a digital camera and scanner for other stuff - but yeah, i create textures in photoshop too - just experimenting with everything at the moment. user added image

here's some more stuff. not too happy with the chrome bits, so any advice on improving them is appreciated.

Lookin good, sir. Since you said your using mental ray on these, are you using the dgs material for the chrome?

No matter what i've tried with that, there are very few things that that seems to work well for. Just curious.

Agent_Dick - no i'm just using a chrome shader from highend.3d that i've had a bit of a play with. - i just wanted to add a bit of grime on it. i also need to do the same on a fan at that i was working on at the start of the thread.

Aikoworld - ha ha - cheers mate. user added image
