Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

Hey there Mirek,

did you go to the same school of scribble as me?

The Acropolis, an excellent idea, always reminds me of Jason & the Argonauts (I think) anyway it's the one where the heroes get some serious hurt put on them by a bunch of Harpies, Ray Harryhausen styleee.

Got to love that film!

Good luck with this.

Later,

Mat.

ha ha scribble school... best school there is.

this would be cool - hope you are still going to keep at it, or start again if the file is messed up... might be nice to have a few headless and limbless statues about the place.

I definitely like the underwater look. It doesn't show the modeling details as well but it I think it looks pretty cool.

hi mate, there is no detail.., I think it even still has the default shader on it.., (though I did 'shatter' a few cloumns as you can see. I spent an hour this morning on it and 30 minutes on the water.., the detail on the model.., some rocks and brocken stuff and light shining from the surface is coming up next.., over the next weeks.

the water needs vast improment and that will happen too.., this is just something quick to get out there because I said I would user added image

thanks for your input user added image
