Hey All,

I'm trying to import a small dialogue clip into Maya 2011 so I can do some lip sync. I'm using a .mp3 and every time I try to import the clip, weather it be via file>import or by dragging and dropping Maya comes up with: //Error: cannot find file. This happens no matter where I put the sound clip. I do have my project folder set. My output window comes up with the message:

Audio File Library error 0: AFopenfile: WARNING D:/My Documents/maya/projects/Andy/assets/Dialouge.mp3 does not have a recognized audio file format

Any help PLEASE??

I tried too but the file import seems to only have these file extensions that it can import

.wav. .aif, .aiff....thats all that shows up on mine
