I've one question.

Well, I make the edges of the doors, and after that I extrude the faces of the doors (I think that's the right thing to do), but after I done that, my doors start to look like this, and I want to make the door planar.

Can anyone tell me how can I resolve this problem??

Thanks for the attention.

Sorry if my english is not very good.user added image user added image

I'm sure someone who can explain it better than me will pop in soon, but basically it looks like you've got some faces "inside" your other faces (if you're working in polygons that is), try turning on x-ray and check for faces that shouldn't be there...

yep, maybe double faces, in that case just delete one of them, OR those faces has their normals reversed. Go to plygons meny, somewhere at the bottom and reverse normals

Hello Gamester,

I'm also making a car, it's only my second attempt so I'm learning a lot on the way, and I've found that trying to keep the mesh as neat as possible is the only way forward. It can be totally time consuming but it is worth it in the end. Good Luck,

Mat.

Ps. the Menu that is suggested is in Edit Polygons > Normals > Reverse. But I don't think this will work if your mesh is a mess.
