hi Jay, owzitgoin'? No mate, I haven't tried yet. I will give it a do tomorrow. My computer went down and i have spent the last two days installing from scratch (lost alll of the C drive) as I do uni and TAFE assignments, plus a job i thought I was going to be paid for but now..? Its the old.. 'mates rates ' it seems and now I'll have to ask, and i don't want to do that, shouldn't have to.

anyway, I'll search the links tomorrow, buggered now. Hope your well and thanks for the reply.user added image

Jesus thats incredible, one thing, ) the chest hangs a bit like a breast, to one side; mine doesn't.., but I'm skinny? anyway, it seems out of rhythm with the rest.

I feel stupid critiquing a work like this but you might agree, if not.., walk on by..,

it not zbrushed. i dont think ill do any zbrush sculpting on this mesh.
the modeling started in maya, then i realized why model in maya user added image when i have xsi.

but i will UV and rig in maya. render in xsi.

yea ill try and find some refs for that area. im pretty much eyeballing much of this model thats why its taking so long. ill fine tune in zbrus to get the proportions more correct once ive finalized the modeling.

thanx for the comments on the chest. i fixed that.

this is the finished mesh. i may tweak in ZB if i see fit. but im pretty happy with it right now.
ill probably mess with the legs a bit more, a few areas need work.

ill start on accessories soon.

Hey Vlad

Overall, its real neat. For me, as you've pointed out already the legs need more work. The calves look to high and the butt/thighs is like Arnold Schwarzeneggers 'in his day'. If the chest was built the same ie: bulky, then it would look right and in proportion, also the front of the quads looks a little too tapered into the knees but other than that all is good

Cheers
Jay

That's looking really good. One thing though is that I think the rib cage over the abs are way to pronounced. You should barely see that at all, unless he has like 4 % body fat and taking a very deep breath (and then he should be more ripped on the other parts of the body aswell)
