The whole thing, I was planning to have hit get shot then just flame from front then have the missile nail it to heck... but I'm worried that might push my dynamic skills to much, we'll see user added image thanks

Looks like you're getting close to being ready to start the explosion work. Model looks pretty sleek, keep it up.

I've been doing some texture tests even though I still have to model the missiles and the missile holder things. I'm pretty happy with this... although I might decide to change it later.


My next move is probably model the missiles or work on the fluids for the heat ejectors.

Edit: I believe the sidewinder (or equivalent) can be either wingtip mounted or carried in a pod underwing...some else can clarify that.

Here is a small update this looks really bad without the occlusion pass.. but here is what I have for the missiles so far.

Looking sweet. And adding color to the light is a good way to add some more realism to the image. I can picture it in my mind with the Occlusion...very nice work so far. Watching you and daverave is great.

Hey guys, heres a little test, I plan on going for a slowmo explosion, the missile will be in sight from the extraction all the way to the final boom... Just picture this really slow motion.
