Hyper Shading

Hello everyone...First off I'd like to say I really like alot of the stuff I see on this site...But to get to the point....I have a huge problem with "Hyper Shading" for some reason I'm doing everything the "video dog tutorial" says to do and for some reason when I middle mouse drag the image into the editing screen and hit "6" it's just giving me lines across my section where the dog is supposed to be...Is there something I'm missing here or is it something that I have no idea of what I'm doing?.....Please someone....Help Me!!

Thanks Alot
Bill

you might want to try planar mapping in the Z direction to the plane
Edit Polygons--> Texture Planar mapping --> Mapping direction: Z axis

Thanks for wasting your time reading this line.
