Connection Specularity Map with UV Set

Good day,

I have following problem:
A texture file connected via UVset to geometry...works fine
Bump map connected ... works fine
Normal map connected ... works fine
I have a hard time to connect a Specmap to the geometry with the correct UVset.
The Specularity Map is connected as file node to the reflection of Mia-materialx-passes.
In the relationship editor I cannot find the file to connect to the correct UVset.
In the UV editor under the correct UV set, the file is black, all other UV sets showing it also black (when I am trying it out)
I deleted the complete network and reconnected everything, I get the same result, only the Specmap cannot be connected properly.

Using Maya 2013.

Any clue or hint will be helpful.
