Squash Deformer

Is there a squash deformer in maya, like in max???

Yes. Animation menu set, Deform > Create Nonlinear > Squash.

Oops, I dont know how I missed that. I looked for it in my deformation shelf, but I didnt see it. It may have gotten deleted.
