Joint Rotation

Is there a way of locking the rotation of a joint around one axis?

e.g.

I only want the knee joint to rotate around the X and not the Z or Y, so when i use IK handles the leg doesn't end up sticking out in some funny angle.

Yes, in the joint's attributes, there's a Rotation Limit section.

Talk about quick, i only posted 5 minutes ago. Thanks, you've just saved hours of blood and tears trying to stop those joints doing strange things. user added image
