Baking Mental Core Dirt shader?

Hi guys,

I've been using mental core's dirt shader - which is amazing - but I need to bake it to my color texture. The thing is, it's not AO despite acting like it. it's plugged into the color of my mental core shader.

That being said, how the hell do you bake the color channel using mental ray batch baking???

All I can get is lighting and AO to bake... which you would think would be the harder part to achieve!

Thanks!

Luke.

Thanks for the link Dave, but this wont work for me because it relies on a texture map being in the colour channel and not the dirt shader. I cant bring up an image of the dirt in the UV editor and therefore cannot make an image for my UVs in photoshop as the technique requires...

Anyone ussing MentalCore Dirt???

Thanks!

Luke.

why don't you ask on their forum?
I imagine the dirt map is just a different occlusion shader. So that tutorial should be fine. If you read the tut i don't think it relies on a texture map. it creates a texture map.
