I think you could add more detial in the modeling if your going for a realistic look, it still looks pretty much the same as before.

Looking at some googled references,

Add toes, make some wrinkles for tha major parts, define the eyes better and add more "weight" to them. Give more weight to the skin between the legs and the body, give the skull more definition. Give the body more"weight" and structure.

If your going for some thing realistic try to get hold of some skletal and muscular diagrams to aid you in where the muscles are.

Granted its a baby but it still has some definition and bone structure, especially in the skull.

from the reference I can see on google, and provided this is supposed to be a baby or child elephant. A Baby Elephant's head is much narrower than its body. The ears seem to be much floppier and droopy as they seem to become rigid with age. Their jaws are more rounded than the elder elephants.
Anf I think most importantly is the stomach. It really sags down, or atleast looks like it due to the size of the legs.

From what I can see The things that change most over age on an elephant are the head and the legs. Add some girth to the stomach, shorten up the legs, narrow the head, and see what kind of result you get.

If this is not intended to be a small elephant, well ignore the whole post lol!

good work sir, its starting to shape up nicely. As long as you are seeing progress and are happy with the way things are going, that is all that matters. The people around you will start to see it too.
Hopefully this has helped to add some pep to your step.
Keep us updated on the refinements.

Cheers!

i'm loving this development

we could make a movie out of your pain and troubles!

or just a short clip of the evolution of your elephants so when you're 130 and on your death bed you can look back and say "back in my day we werent implanted with skill, we had to work to get it" and all your great grand children will be like "whoa, times must have been hard"

sorry, dunno where that came from.......

lol that was random :lmao: but hilarious user added image

Elephantinc, your elephant is looking good. As always, practice makes better! (not perfect, thats too optimistic user added image )

No, I'm not a pessimist -.-

Good work anyways, keep it up. Do you plan to rig this? I don't remember hearing that or anything... You should make it walk around, then drink some water, and then spray it at the camera! user added image

I will eventually rig it
I even have animation ideas for it from when
I used to do stop motion
although I intend to get a decent looking elephant out of this so I will still be modeling for some time (providing I can figure out what to do to make it better)
