Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

uv mirroring

Hi,

I'm trying to apply a texture to this polygon mesh, but it seems like the UVs(and hence textures) are being mirrored. I tried to assign both halves of the model separate UVs but for some reason its not working.

any ideas?

try posting the pic user added image


There's nothing normal about normals. In FACT i think the are abnormal.
