I created the fog just by using spotlight - light effects. Somehow it is not captured in the reflection. I am using blinn for the mirror.

I followed the tutorial which i dont understand why i need to apply a mat to a object just to get a fog. Anyway the fog appeared but i don't see it on the reflection either. Maybe i done something wrong but the rendering time is really too long. I am looking for a better way that requires short rendering time. Thanks for your reply though
