logos

Hey guys, Here are to logos that were created in Maya. First I will explain what they are what its for. My background is Portuguese. I live in Canada and this week we celebrate Portugal Birthday. So downtown Toronto in the Portuguese area we have huge party and parades. I was asked to quickly make these two logos. The one with the Maple leaf is actually the logo of a portuguese community center that I actual am a director in. The second one is not really used as much anymore. It is the Potuguese escudo logo, which is the currency. Obviously with the euro they no longer get used. Anyways they are part of a float that is showing an era in portugal of the early 1900's. I had only a few hours to create the two. The maple leaf one was already done but had to quickly modify a few things. The escudo was done from scratch.

I guess they are more crests than logos. Not family crests. Everything in it does have a story.
