problem with misss_physical in mental ray

Hi everybody
I have a problem with misss_physical: In the first image I try to test the optical properties without the approx but something get wrong. As I change the absorption and scattering coeff nothing happen. Well almost nothing. When I set low absorption and low scatter only the upper part of the cylinder (in the red circle) is transparent, even if all the sphere should be transparent




In the second image as I raise the absorption the upper part of the cylinder (circled in red) is less transparent. This part only!! The rest of the sphere seems to be unaffected by these settings.



Can anybody help me please? Thank you very much
