This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

illustrator/maya/Vue 6

Ive forgotten where to look and how to convert CS Illustrator curves into live curves for maya, can someone help me on this

also, can some one tell me how to import my maya camera into Vue 6 Extreme??

For illustrator I think theres either a plug in that you have to enable or it just imports them direct from the.ai file, the old F1 with a search for .ai might help you out.

As for Vue unis just got a copy so been having a bit of a play, as for the maya camera into it not too sure. I saw some great tutorials on it using lightwave, the process will probably be the same to be honest, but I dont think theres a plug in available for maya 8.5 as of yet.

thanks mate those Vue tuts are great, I have ligtwave but i just don't have the time to learn it.

Illustrator, there is a way of making the curves live IN illustrator, via the layers somehow, I have done it but I have forgotten
