Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Ahhh, broken sword, the sleeping dragon....what a fantastic game!!! Yeah, it does look a bit like the main character - George Stobbart.

When in doubt......smile!

update:
Fixed lips, did ears, i need to fix the top part.....so dullynoted user added image
Other than that I feel pretty happy.
By the way, checked out The book by Mckinley and thats what I used as reference for the eyes which needed tweaking. I definately have to go pick up that book.
Anywho......i also found that my character.....seems to change with every update....which i honestly don't mind since I am not working with a specific reference. I do have to say though that he is coming out beautifully and I love it!
Comments and concerns please!! user added image
Thanks in advance.

you really did great improvement on the lips! they look pretty well shaped. the ear still looks odd, but you´ll fix that, I´m sure. the nostril could use some definition and the part above the eyes appears to be very straight - also you might try to push some verts on the outside of the upper eyesocket a little more backwards, so it gives the head a bit more of a human appearence and less of a primeval (right word?).

head looks cool - don´t stop tweaking!

small update....I think this is the end of my tweaking...amazingly enough i have devoted about 30 to 35 hours to solely this head.
I have to go ahead and model the body....class ends in about 3 weeks......there is less detail in the body (hopefully).
I shall be posting pics of the body later.
Please...i would really appreciate more comments.
BTW>.....Fallot....Thanks so much! I totally took what you said into consideration and found myself striving to better the things that you mentioned.

Anyway
here we go:

Hope you guys like it.
This by the way is the OFFICIAL end of this head modeling lol
