Paint FX for low poly trees?

hm, I was wondering if i can use paintFX for 5,6k polys trees? Just instead if having really high res branches, I'd rether put my own, low poly branches, because I don't need evry leaf to be seperated, but rether but one poly plane with branches and leaves, and put lots of this planes. Is this possible and if so, how*

Tnx!

You could convert the tree to polys then use the reduce poly option to, well reduce it to where you want it to be.

You can also switch off the create leaves option in the tubes somewhere so you have a bare tree, you can also switch off branches, twigg's etc to suit what you want then you can add your own leaves etc etc.

Yeah Go for it. They're ideal. Theres lots of setting on them for different variations of the same tree too.
