ALIEN W.I.P.

Well, after seeing AVP I was inspired to turn out my favorite movie monster, ALIEN. I'm almost finished with the head. Just have to do his teeth and inner jaws. Then will come the body. This wil be a high poly model relying more on detail than textures.

What do y'all think so far?

AAAAHH its coming to eat me!!!! Great start mate, a tricky blight to model I think. Looking forward to seeing it take shape. You planning to animate it as well or just a modelling project? A bit of AVP home made action perhaps?

Looks cool Dave. Ask Pure Morning for some help if you need it. He worked on the movie.

But you probably knew that. user added image

Thanks guys.

I know Pure worked on the movie, but he didn't do any ALIENs. Besides, I can do these babies with my eyes closed I know them so well. user added image

Thanks again guys.

No Bruticus, this is the Drone from ALIENS. Well, it's actually a combination of a few of them. Depending on which reference pic is the clearest for whichever part I happen to be working on. user added image

More coming soon. I'm working on the mouth parts right now. Will post when they are done.

murph: it isn't all that it's cracked up to be. Miami Beach is an expensive place to live. If you got money, then you got time to do stuff. But if you are as broke as me, then you don't have time to do anything cause you'll be working your azz off to pay the bills. LOL! user added image

kbrown: Moving this weekend so there probably wont be an update for about a week. But I'm still working on it while I have classes this week, so hopefully I'll have at least the mouth finished.
