Rendering

I am following Matt's rendering tutorial. When I click "Batch render" I get an error "Cannot find an available port".

Does anyone have any suggestions or solutions? Thanks!

Are you using a networked, or a firewalled machine?

It is firewalled. I figured out the problem that I had to grant access to Maya to connect to the internet for it to batch render. Thank you for your help and response!

If you have a MAC it will be different than a PC. With a PC you hit print screen on your keyboard, then go into photoshop or whatever photo editing program you have, create a new document and then click edit - paste and it will paste the screen shot. Then crop your workspace.
